Ingredients: • 450 g beef for stewing • 1 ½ teaspoon salt • 500 mL (2 cups) water • 1 teaspoon galangal (laos), ground • 1 tablespoon tamarind (asam jawa) juice • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil Preparations: • Dice beef into bite-size pieces and cook with salt and water until tender. Allow to cool in bouillon, then drain and remove. • Drain and remove cooled beef pieces, then rub with galangal and tamarind juice • Heat oil in a frying pan (skillet) and fry beef until medium brown. Serve
